Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must belong to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category.

The student should be a domicile of the respective State/UT where admission is sought.

The child must have passed or be studying in Class V from a recognized school.

The age limit is generally between 10 to 13 years as on 31 March 2026 (relaxation applicable for reserved categories as per norms).
Admission Class & Intake

Admission is primarily conducted for Class VI.

Limited lateral entry in higher classes (VII, VIII, IX, XI) may be allowed depending on availability of vacant seats and official notifications.
Selection Process

Admission is strictly based on performance in the EMRS Selection Test (EMRSST) 2026.
