Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must belong to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category.
- The student should be a domicile of the respective State/UT where admission is sought.
- The child must have passed or be studying in Class V from a recognized school.
- The age limit is generally between 10 to 13 years as on 31 March 2026 (relaxation applicable for reserved categories as per norms).
Admission Class & Intake
- Admission is primarily conducted for Class VI.
- Limited lateral entry in higher classes (VII, VIII, IX, XI) may be allowed depending on availability of vacant seats and official notifications.
Selection Process
- Admission is strictly based on performance in the EMRS Selection Test (EMRSST) 2026.

- Mental Ability
- Arithmetic
- Language (Hindi/English/Regional)
- A merit list is prepared based on marks obtained in the entrance examination.
